Prenatal yoga is for all leves of students in their 2nd and 3rd trimester who do not have pregnancy complications. Gentle poses, breath awareness and deep relaxation help relieve physical discomforts and prepare the body for labor and delivery. Contact: Kathy Stover.

Ageless Yoga - Ageless Yoga provides exploration and precise practice of yoga postures and breath while providing the student with more guidance, support and use of props. This class is designed for students 50 years and older. You are never too old to reap the benefits of yoga. Limited enrollment class.

Yoga Basics - Offers the opportunity to safely experience beginning yoga poses while exploring breath awareness and developing a deeper connection between mind,body and breath. Beginning Level: for those new to Yoga and returning students who would like to brush up on the basics before returning to a level 1 class.

Meditation - A systematic approach to learning beginning meditation. Meditation decreases stress, and creates deep inner calm. This class will provide a foundation on which to build a long-term home practice. All levels welcome. Private and small group instruction also available.

Gentle Yoga for Health Challenges - Everyone can do yoga!!! This gentle class is designed for students who want to learn how to modify yoga for their specific health challenges. Each session includes movement (asana), breath awareness/breathing techniques and guided relaxation. Limited enrollment class. No drop-ins please.

Yoga for EveryBody - In this ongoing Viniyoga class, you will learn a breath focused approach to yoga postures and how to adapt yoga postures to your unique condition. Breath awareness, breath techniques (pranayama), meditation/reflection are also included in class. Pranayama - Explores the art of breathing. Pranayama is the rhythmic control of the breath, it's extension and expansion. Pranayama cleanses and aerates the lungs, oxygenates the blood and purifies the nerves. Private instruction also available. taught occasionally.

Therapeutic Yoga - Classes focus on the use of yoga for health related conditions (ex: low back pain, sleep issues, depression). Taught by teachers with specialized yoga training.

Exploring the Power of the Breath - Our breathing patterns have a powerful influence on our sense of well being and vitality. This four session series will focus on relaxed diaphragmatic breathing, yoga postures (asanas) to free and deepen the breath, and breathing techniques (pranayama) to influence mood, alertness and energy. Class size is limited to provide each student with guidance in designing an individualized home breathing practice. Some yoga experience is required.

The focus of this Viniyoga class is on how yoga postures, breathing techniques and reflection/meditation can help you manage the symptoms of depression.
